Nose
Gentle and approachable, with a light Speyside character and a subtle influence from the rum cask.
Palate
Easy-drinking and uncomplicated, with the rum cask making its presence felt without dominating the underlying whisky.
Finish
Clean and relatively short, leaving a light sweetness behind and making it very easy to go back for another sip.
Thoughts
A bottle for those moments when you just want a dram without having to think too hard about it. Dangerously drinkable — you blink and the fill level will have dropped drastically. And with 5% of proceeds supporting rhino conservation through the Rhino Orphanage, there’s a pretty good justification for reaching for another pour: “I’m saving the rhinos!”
