Region: Islay

Islay is one of those whisky regions that tends to leave an impression. Famous for peat smoke, coastal character and big, distinctive flavours, the island is home to a remarkably diverse collection of whiskies – from intensely smoky drams to expressions that are surprisingly delicate and refined.

This is our growing collection of Islay whisky tasting notes, covering bottles from the island’s distilleries and a range of styles, ages and cask influences. From heavily peated classics to lighter and more unexpected expressions, these are the whiskies that have made their way into our glasses over the years.
